Don't do this with your money

SaveThere's all kinds of advice out there about how to make your money grow, the best ways to save for retirement, weathering a recession and the like.

For a lot of people, the better advice would be what NOT to do with your money.

That's where this article from CNN comes in. Author Jen Haley outlines three all-to-common mistakes that will take a huge bite out of your finances:

  • Borrowing against your 401(k) too early.
  • Going overboard on buy-now, pay-later plans and getting trapped when the interest kicks in.
  • Co-signing a loan for a friend or family member.
